SOAR Special Needs is hosting a FREE 3-hour respite for parents of individuals with special needs! We will also have a simultaneous program for siblings from birth - 13 years old. Dinner will be provided and we will provide a full medical and behavior teams to welcome all individuals of every age, diagnosis, and severity.
The April 27th respite will be from 5-8pm at Abundant Life Church, Lee's Summit, MO. Limited spots are available.
Our in-person R&Rs will be at various locations throughout the greater Kansas City area and will have a simultaneous program for siblings from birth-13 years old. R&R events consist of a variety of activities including games, crafts, sensory, movies, worship, a short devotional, and more. We offer monthly two to three hour respite events on a Friday and/or Saturday. In order to help ALL of our families experience a time of respite, you will only be able to attend once, and then placed on a waitlist for future R&R's throughout the year. For all events, we no longer require masks and will take advice from CDC and local authorities on masks.
